Twenty years of dedicated service to the nation by being the part of Indian Air Force was a matter of pride and honour. Being a part of Operation KARGIL, Operation VIJAY and Operation PARAKRAM gave me the courage to fight the enemy.
While on vacation at hometown, a lot of students used to meet me for Career Guidance. I realized that proper education was deficient for the children of our area. During the year 2009, there were hardly any CBSE affiliated schools in western Maharashtra. Sainik School Satara was the only one in this area. Being the student of Satara Sainik School I always felt that such school is needed for the children of this area.
This was the origin of Anandsagar. Taking lessons from Sainik School concept, Anandsagar planned to bring the public school education for the children of rural area. The curriculum is well designed to imbibe various qualities in the children while achieving the Academic excellence.
At Anandsagar, the children are made to go through various extra-curricular activities which bring the best in them. Beyond the regular Indoor and outdoor sports, these children undergo the Adventure activities like Para-sailing, zorbing, Ropes and ladders etc. These activities build confidence in children and make them courageous.

Junior College of Anandsagar trains the children for various professional courses after 12th std. The activities are planned in such a way that they get exposure to the maximum Career options available around. At Anandsagar, children are admitted at Pre-KG and trained till 12th std. They are guided through all their educational requirements until they achieve and complete the Post Graduation in the field they choose.
This seems to be the herculean task but the team is determined to ensure excellence for the children thus keeping the moto of Anandsagar ‘DETERMINATION TO EXCEL’ in the hearts and minds.
